- Handling the dispersal of your items to family members, friends, charities, consignment shops and estate sales
- Assisting with sorting and selecting the items you will take to your new home
- Providing all packing supplies and carefully packing your belongings
- Assisting in selecting a qualified and dependable moving company and overseeing the moving day activities
- Providing referrals for services such as home inspectors, handy men, painters, carpet cleaners and house cleaners, to leave your house looking fresh and in working order
- Arranging for trash removal, recycling, shredding and destroying sensitive documents
- Transferring and/or terminating utilities, newspaper subscriptions and internet service
- Arranging for temporary storage if necessary
- Cleaning the house and garage you moved from so it is spic and span
